LOWKEN was established in 2022, in Minnesota near the Twin Cities by Kennedy Lor.

After graduating college with a BS in Apparel Design & Development at the University of Wisconsin-Stout, Lor's passion for sustainable fashion was ignited after discovering that many larger companies did not align with their values. LOWKEN was created as a launching pad for Lor to bring attention to creating effortless garments and accessories using second-hand fabrics and materials that tell the stories of their previous owners. The brand's commitment to sustainability is reflected in their use of textile waste to create new and interesting garments that offers a new take on fashions classics. LOWKEN is dedicated to creating a new future of sustainable fashion by looking at the clothes that are in our closets.
